# Set Up the Marketing Assistant App

The Marketing Assistant app displays a high-level overview of your marketing data. If you’re using voice commands, you configure the top KPIs and goals and define filters.

To interact with the Marketing Assistant app using voice, you need:

- An Amazon Alexa account
- An Alexa device

1. Install the Marketing Assistant app.
    1. In Marketing Cloud Intelligence, on the Marketplace tab, select **Apps**.
    2. Select the app, and click **Get it Now**.
2. Pair an Alexa device.
    1. Follow the instructions on the screen.
        
        If you don’t want to interact with voice, click **Next** to skip this step. If you change your mind and want to use voice commands, you can change the settings in the app.

        Note You must have the [Marketing Assistant Skill](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083C1257T/ref=sr_1_1?qid=1577801079&rnid=13727922011&s=alexa-skills&sr=1-1) enabled in your Alexa account. If you’re using an Alexa device in a different language, select your target language by clicking **Change Language**. For example, change the language to Spanish. After you change the language, the passphrase now appears in the selected language and you can communicate with the Alexa device in your target language.

        Note The app still appears in English, but you can ask the device questions in your target language.
    2. Click **Next**.
3. Configure top KPIs and goals.
    
    On the Assistant Training page, configure the top KPIs and their goals. Define which KPIs you can track and how you pronounce their names. By default, Marketing Cloud Intelligence displays the eight-most used KPIs in your workspace.
    
    1. Add or remove KPIs.
    2. To change the order of the questions asked, move the cards.
    3. To set a goal for the KPI, click **Set Goal** and then set a period and enter a value. For example, over or under 1,000 impressions.
    4. Click **Next**.
4. Define filters.
    
    A filter controls what users can access. You can define up to three filters using any dimension in the workspace. For example, you can show data only for a specific campaign or site.
5. To complete the installation, click **Install**.

Installing the Marketing Assistant app creates these underlying entities.

- Einstein Marketing Insights Bots - the app creates bots for any of the top KPIs that can be used as Insights Bots.
- Goals - One goal is created for each goal that was set in the top KPIs
