# Set EMI Budget Constraints

From the Budget constraints tab, you can apply and remove optional settings. For example, turn off the EMI Budget allocator, set limitations, or expand how the EMI budget allocator splits your budget. This allows you to customize your budget and see more results.

1. In Marketing Cloud Intelligence, on the **Marketplace** tab, select **Apps**.
2. Click **Installed Solutions**, and then select the **Media Planning Center** app.
3. Click **Settings** and then select **Budget Constraints**.
4. To stop using the EMI Budget Allocator, toggle off **EMI Budget Allocator**.
    
    The options display your hierarchy levels from the top to the bottom of the hierarchy. For example, if Channel is at the top of your hierarchy, Platforms is under it, and at the bottom is Strategy.
5. Determine your budget shift.
6. Select the level of hierarchy in which you would like to limit budget shifting.
