# Add an Event to a Widget in Marketing Cloud Intelligence

After you create an event in your workspace, you can add it to a widget so you can visualize the data.

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small ">
        <colgroup>
          <col style="width:50%">
          <col style="width:50%">
        </colgroup>
        <thead class="slds-text-title_caps ">
          <tr class="">
            <th scope="colgroup" class="slds-cell-wrap" colspan="2" style="vertical-align:top;" id="d23642e38">REQUIRED USER ROLE</th>
          </tr>
        </thead>
        <tbody>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="REQUIRED USER ROLE" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d23642e38 ">To add an event to a widget</td>

            <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d23642e38 ">Admin and Power User</td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

The following widgets have date ranges and are therefore suitable for events:

- Bar graph
- Line chart
- Time comparison bar graph
- Calendar

1. On the **Visualize** tab, click a page and click the pencil icon to enter edit mode.
2. On the **Design** tab, click **Interactions**.
3. Select **Calendar Events**.
4. Select the event you want to add.

    A bookmark icon for the event appears in the widget.
