- **[Multi-Factor Authentication in Marketing Cloud Intelligence](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.dato_getstarted_security_mfa.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) requires users to enter two or more pieces of evidence, or factors, to prove identification. One factor is something the user knows, such as a username and password combination. Other factors are verification methods that the user has in possession, such as an authenticator app or security key. All users must have a registered MFA method in order to access the Marketing Cloud Intelligence platform directly.
- **[Single Sign-On (SSO) in Marketing Cloud Intelligence](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.dato_getstarted_security_sso.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
If you’re the administrator of a Marketing Cloud Intelligence account, you can grant team members access by signing into a central identity provider. SSO) makes access easier and more secure for everyone. You can put the identity provider that you already trust in charge of authentication, while team members can access Marketing Cloud Intelligence without another password to manage.
