# Apply Data Transformer in Marketing Cloud Intelligence

Select the data transformer checkbox to manipulate actual data contained in the files you upload.

Such as transforming currency data to include a zero before the decimal point. For example: .5 (½) appears as 5 and is calculated as a whole number instead of 0.5. The Data transformer adds the necessary zeros to currency data.

1. On the **Connect & Mix** tab, expand **Data Streams**, and then expand **Data Streams List**.
2. Create a data stream, or edit an existing one.
3. In the **Preview Source** screen, click **Edit Transformers**.
4. In the **Add Transformers** section, next to **Data**, click the plus icon.
5. Select the checkbox and click **Done**.
