# Create a TikTok Ads Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence

To create and manage TikTok reports, create a TikTok data stream.

To connect to TikTok ads, you need a valid username and password for TikTok Business.

1. On the Connect & Mix tab, under Data Streams, click **Add New**.
2. Select **TikTok Ads**.
3. In the General section, select the account that you want to pull data for. To add a data source authentication, click **Add New** and enter your TikTok credentials.
4. Set the time period for the initial data fetch.

You can process data up to the past 180 days.
5. In the Extended Properties section, choose which properties you want to set.
    - To retrieve in-app event stats, select **Get in-App Conversion Data**.

For an in-app event, the type is mapped to the Conversion Tag Name field, and the value is mapped to the Total Conversions field. The connector pulls both unique and total in-app event metrics. A unique in-app event is mapped to the total conversion Marketing Cloud Intelligence field. Unique counts are available only for in-app events. Metrics for page events are empty. Values from the total in-app events are unmapped, and the `app_install` and `real_time_app_install` metrics are empty because they aren’t supported in TikTok.
    - When you select **Get In-App Conversion Data**, you can also select **Get SKAN In-app events** to retrieve data from SKAN in-app event metrics. The data is on the ad-group level.
    - To retrieve information about your top-viewed campaigns, select **Get Top View Campaigns Data**. The data is on the ad-group level.
    - To retrieve website page event stats, select **Get Page Conversions Data**.

The total event count isn't mapped by default. The unique metric, which is mapped to Total Conversions by default, is empty for page events.
6. To change the mapping, click **Mapping**.
7. To define advanced settings for the data stream, click **Advanced**.
8. To add the data stream, click **Create**.
9. Check that the data stream is working.

    - In the TikTok Ads platform, create a report for the selected date range.
    - In Marketing Cloud Intelligence, process the data stream filtered to the same date range.
    - In Marketing Cloud Intelligence, create a report or pivot table with the same date range, dimensions, and measurements.
    - Compare the reports to make sure that the measurement totals are aligned.
