# Search Ads 360 Custom API Connector

Search Ads 360

- Channel: Search
- Data Lagging: 1 Day

## Prerequisites

Search Ads 360 credentials with at least Advertiser viewer permissions

## When Should I use the Google Search Ads 360 Custom Connector?

The Search Ads 360 API Connector is used to retrieve a predefined set of Dimensions and Measurements, supplied by Search Ads 360’s API. These Dimensions are mapped within the Ads, Conversion Tag, Conversion Tag with Keywords, Search Keywords or Conversion Tag Data Stream Types, depending on the Extended Properties that are selected within the Data Stream. The pre-defined nature of this API means that creating a Data Stream containing any additional fields other than the predefined ones is limited and would require a Feature Request.

The Search Ads 360 Custom API Connector allows you to retrieve fields that are not available through the Standard API, such as Floodlight Dimensions.

Keep in mind that unless you are intending to retrieve a custom set of fields, the standard GSA 360 API Connector would be a better choice, as it is preset to be accurately mapped to the Data Model, while the Custom Connector requires manual setup.

## General Setup

Once authenticated you will need to select the Account and the Advertiser you would like to retrieve. The General, Data Stream Custom Attributes, Advanced and Initial Data Fetch sections in the Data Stream Settings have the same configuration as the regular GSA 360 Connector.
