# Update Data Manually

You can edit raw measurement data for specific data in a data stream. Dimension data can’t be edited and remains as is. Also, dimension values appear as they do in the raw data. If you made changes in the Dimension Explorer, you don’t see those changes here.

### Required Editions

1. Navigate to the **Connect & Mix** tab.
2. Expand **Data Streams**, and then expand **Data Streams List**.
3. Select the data stream that you want to modify.
4. From the toolbar, click **More**, and then select **Manual Data Update**.
5. Select the date that you want to edit data for.
6. Go to the row where measurement data exists and enter a new value.
7. Click **Done**.

When editing measurement data manually, the platform deletes the updated row from the original data stream and creates a new data stream. This data stream doesn’t appear in the Data Streams List, but it’s linked to the original data stream. You can view the manual updates in the data stream’s log under **Manual Update Logs**.
