# Apply a Data Load Mode to Your Data Stream

Configure how new data updates the existing data in the data stream.

### Required Editions

1. From the Connect & Mix tab, select **Data Streams**, and then select **Data Streams List**.
2. Create a data stream or edit one.
3. At the bottom of the Data Stream page, click **Advanced**.
4. Under Load Mode, select the mode.
    
    The default option is Replace.
