# Deleting Data from a Granular Data Center

To facilitate compliance with various data protection and privacy regulations, you can delete data from a Granular Data Center.

Important Only admins can delete data. Because data deletion is irreversible, be aware of the repercussions. To delete data, the admin must open a ticket with the required request.

You can either completely remove data from the database or delink specific values within the Granular Data Center. Delinking keeps the data in the Granular Data Center but replaces certain field values with other values.

Note Data is deleted only after 7 days from deletion.
