# Set Your Goal Notifications

While your goal is active, you can get notified on the progress of your goals and where they stand compared to the benchmarks you set.

1. To be notified when your goals aren’t met, select **Show**.
    
    The notifications appear at the top of the page as yellow exclamation points.
2. To be notified by email, select the email address from the dropdown menu.
3. Select the entity for which you want to sort your email notifications by.
4. Select how your emails are sorted, for example **Ascending** or **Descending**.
    
    Notifications are only sent while the goal is still active, and hasn’t yet reached its target value.
