# Create a Referral Program

The cornerstone of a referral strategy is the referral program. After setting up a referral program, channel managers can manage and implement all aspects of their referral strategy from the referral program.

### Required Editions

Tip If your brand uses the same org to run their loyalty program with Loyalty Management or Referral Marketing, ask your admin to add the Type and Subtype fields to the Loyalty Program object's page layout. The Type field helps identify whether a program is for loyalty or referral, and the Subtype field indicates if a referral program is B2B or B2C.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **B2B Referral Management**.
2. On the Home page, click **Create B2B Referral Program**.
3. Enter the name, description, and status of the referral program.
4. Save your changes.
