# How Advocate Enrollment are Tracked in B2B Referral Management

Each time a referral program advocate or a partner joins a referral promotion, the enrollment is tracked by using a Transaction Journal record and a set of related records.

## Enroll Existing Referral Program Advocates

When a customer who is already an advocate of a referral program joins a referral promotion, these records are created:

## Enroll Advocates

You can use the Advocate Enrollment action to enroll partners as advocates in a referral promotion. The admin or the developer can add the action to an existing business process. The action is available for admins in Flow Builder, and developers can access it as an invocable action or from Apex.
