# Validate the New Connections Setup in Salesforce UI

Log in as a Salesforce admin and confirm the org preference, New Connection Manager profile, and SLA policy in Setup.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col style="width:100%"></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: All Editions with Energy &amp; Utilities - Growth</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. Org preference
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Energy & Utilities, and then select **Energy & Utilities Settings**.
    2. Confirm that the **Individual Application Milestone Enablement** toggle is turned on.
2. Profile
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select **Profiles**.
    2. Confirm that a **New Connection Manager** profile exists.
3. SLA policy
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter SLA Policies, and then select **SLA Policies**, if you ran Simplified SLA setup, or **Entitlement Process** otherwise.
    2. Start a new SLA Policy or Entitlement Process and confirm that the **Individual Application** policy type appears in the dropdown menu.
