# Set Up the Clean Energy Program Management Console with AI Tools

Use these steps to set up a clean energy program management console with Claude or Agentforce Vibes and the Salesforce CLI.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, <strong>Developer</strong>, <strong>Professional</strong>, and <strong>Performance</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

Before you begin, confirm that Claude or Agentforce Vibes and the Salesforce CLI are installed and that the agent is connected to your org as an authenticated admin user with the required permissions. See [Requirements](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_clean_energy_pmc_requirements.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before you set up a clean energy program management console with AI tools, confirm that your org has the required licenses and a supported edition. You also need admin credentials, the Salesforce CLI with permission to authenticate it to your org, and an AI coding agent such as Claude Code or Agentforce Vibes to run the setup recipe.").

1. Authenticate and initialize.

When the agent prompts you to authenticate the MCP server against your org, run `sfdx org login web` in a separate terminal window, sign in through the browser, and return to the agent terminal. When the agent locates the recipe and asks whether to proceed, type `Yes`. Start with the initiating prompt in Agentic Tips.
2. Foundation (turn on preferences).

The agent analyzes the org and proposes enabling **Outcome Management** and **Program and Benefit Management**, and it assigns the [10 admin permission sets](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_set_up_licenses_pmc.htm&language=en_US) to the running admin (System Admin persona). When it asks for confirmation before irreversible steps, such as user creation and metadata deployment, type `yes`.
3. Program Manager user creation

When prompted, provide the details to create a **Program Manager** user (username, email, last name, and alias); the agent clones the standard profile. This step is optional and idempotent, so the user isn't always created.
4. Assign permission sets and deploy metadata.

The agent assigns the Program Manager user a comprehensive set of permission sets (see the Reference section) and deploys metadata to add the value **Program Product** to the **Indicator Assignment Type** picklist on the Indicator Assignment object.
5. Integration user permissions

The agent assigns three permission set licenses to the integration user, Energy & Utilities Cloud Program, Outcome Management, and Program and Benefit Management.
6. Flow and Data Processing Engine setup

The agent deploys and activates the required Data Processing Engine definitions. The agent also deploys and activates the **Clean Energy Program Benefit Assignment Aggregation Scheduler** flow.
