# Set Up Energy & Utilities Contractor Portal

Grant permissions, deploy components, and enable an Experience Cloud site for the Energy & Utilities Contractor Portal.

Contractor Portal is delivered as an Experience Cloud template that you can configure to for your contractors. This setup guide instructs you on where to find the template, how to copy it into your org, and how to customize it for your specific needs. You can optionally set up sample data to test the features of Contractor Portal.

Note Contractor Portal is available only for the orgs that use Standard OmniStudio Content and Runtime. For more information, see [Communications, Media, and Energy (CME) Support for OmniStudio Standard Runtime](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cme_support_for_omnistudio_standard_runtime.htm&language=en_US). In Setup, under OmniStudio Settings, if Managed Package Runtime is turned off, then your org is using Standard OmniStudio Content and Runtime.

After you set up the Contractor Portal template, you can configure the site according to your business requirements. See [Customize Contractor Portal](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_configuring_contractor_portal.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure Contractor Portal to provide a quality, branded experience for your customers.").

To use Contractor Portal, these add-on licenses must be provisioned in your org:

- EAndUCloudPCAddOn
- BRECommunityAddOn
- ContractMgmtIndCmePCAddOn
- OmnistudioRuntimeCCAddOn

To set up Contractor Portal in Energy & Utilities, complete each of these tasks:

- **[Enable Features for Contractor Portal](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_enable_org_features_for_contractor_portal.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Enable Program and Benefit Management settings for the Energy & Utilities Contractor Portal, and allow users to relate a contact to multiple accounts.
- **[Create Program Manager Role for Clean Energy Program Management](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_create_program_manager_role.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create a program manager role and assign the role to users who manage programs and need to create contractor users.
- **[Clone the Partner Community Profile](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_clone_the_partner_community_profile.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create a custom profile for the contractor by cloning the partner community profile and assigning additional permissions.
- **[Create a Contractor Portal Site](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_create_a_contractor_portal_from_the_template.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Before you can configure your Contractor Portal, create a Contractor Portal site. Energy & Utilities Cloud provides a template for the Contractor Portal site to get you started.
- **[Set up Partner Accounts and Contractor Users](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.energy_create_contractor_users_cp.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
