Before you begin, make sure that your org uses Standard Omnistudio Content and Runtime, which Energy and Utilities Cloud standard apps require. See [Communications, Media, and Energy (CME) Support for Omnistudio Standard Runtime](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cme_support_for_omnistudio_standard_runtime.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

If your org already has the managed package version of Energy and Utilities apps, enabling Sales and Service Apps doesn't remove those apps. Standard apps don't use data stored in the managed package's custom objects. To use standard apps, migrate your data, processes, and UI components to the enhanced data model. After you enable the apps, assign permission sets to give your users access.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Energy and Utilities Settings, and select it.
2. Turn on **Energy and Utilities Service Apps**.
3. Turn on **Sales for Energy and Utilities**.
