# Create the New Connection Manager Profile

Clone the Standard User profile to create a New Connection Manager profile, and grant it the permissions needed to manage new utility connection applications.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and select **Profiles**.
2. Find the Standard User profile and click **Clone**.
3. For the profile label, enter New Connection Manager. Leave the API name unchanged.
4. Save your changes.
5. On the New Connection Manager profile, click **Edit**.
6. Under Administrative Permissions, select **ViewSetup**, **ManageEntitlements**, **CustomizeApplication**, and **RunFlow**.
7. Save your changes.

Use this profile for creating standard users.
