# Configure Data Sharing Options

Determine how record information and object types are displayed when shared within Slack channels.

1. Navigate to the **Slack App Setup** page and locate the **Verify data sharing options** section.
2. In the **Set Record Detail Security for Your Salesforce Apps** setting, select **show record and object type**.
