# Create a New Commodity Product

Create new attributes, categories, and product classifications, then create and categorize a new product with the appropriate specification type.

1. From the **App Launcher**, search for and select **Product Catalog Management**.
2. Go to the **Home** page.
3. Create new **Attributes**, **Attribute Categories**, and **Product Classification** as per the RLM PCM guidelines.
4. Create a new product, selecting the appropriate **Product Specification Type**.
    
    - **Technical Products** are used for computation, such as Per Unit Charge, Unit Rate, and Per Day Charge.
    - **Commercial Products** are sellable products, such as Electricity, Gas, and Water.
5. Once the product is created, add it to the relevant category.
