# Add a New Service Point Field

Add or modify a new field for the Service Point that can impact pricing. For this procedure, we assume a custom field called

1. Create a new service point field
    1. From the **Object Manager**, go to **Service Points** and then **Fields and Relationships**.
    2. Click **Add a custom new field** and name it **'NewField'**.
    3. Select a suitable data type for the field.
2. Create and map the attribute.
    1. Create an attribute named **'NewAttribute'** with the same data type as the **'NewField'**.
    2. Add this attribute to the product classification and mark it as **price impacting**.
    3. Go to **Price Management**.
    4. Define attribute-based adjustments for the product, including all possible value combinations for the new attribute.
3. Configure the decision table.
    1. Create an **AttributeBindingCSV** file. The CSV should contain the following fields:

        - **Entity Name**: The name of the entity that holds the field, in this case, **ServicePoint**.
        - **FieldName**: The name of the field you want to map, for example, **'NewField\_c'**.
        - **AttributeName**: The API name of the attribute mapped to the product.
    2. Go to **Business Rule Engine**.
    3. Select **Lookup Tables** and then select **AttributeBindingDT**.
    4. Upload the newly created CSV to reflect the new row in the Decision Table.
4. Update and test tariff comparison.
    1. Update the **'NewField'** field of the **Service Point** record for the account you want to run the tariff comparison for.
    2. Add the **'NewAttribute'** to the **PricelmpactingAttributeList** in the **Tariff Comparison** flow.
    3. Run the tariff comparison flow for the account.
    4. Select the attribute values from the user interface for which the attribute adjustments were created.
    5. Check that prices are calculated correctly and displayed on the **Get Tariff** screen.
    6. Submit the order and verify that the new attribute's name and value are included in the order item attribute.
