Create an Auto Quote

Create an auto quote or multi-site quick quote to assign products to a group of sites listed on an opportunity efficiently.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
User Permissions Needed
To create user profiles and users: Energy & Utilities Cloud Features
  1. From the Opportunity record page, click Auto Quote.
  2. Enter the essential details, such as the quote name and description.
  3. Click Create Quote.
    This triggers the automated process that creates the quote and the group.
  4. Select a catalog, select a category, and then select a product.
  5. Click Save Quote.
  6. Configure the product.
    1. Click the Configure option available at the quote line item.
    2. Select a value for the product attribute.
    3. Click Save and Exit.
  7. Price each site individually by clicking the Split option available at the quote line item level to generate individual quote line items for each site.
  8. Review the final quote structure to ensure all details are appropriate.
  9. Once the quote is approved, click Create Order to initiate the order creation process and generate related records.
  10. Activate the order using the Activate option.
