Create the Constraint Engine Node Status Field

Create the node status field on the Quote Line Item and Order Product objects and configure the field-level security.

To create user profiles and users: Energy & Utilities Cloud Features
  1. From Setup, go to the object management settings.
  2. From the object management settings for Quote Line Item, go to Fields & Relationships.
  3. Click New.
  4. Select Text Area (Long), and then click Next.
  5. Enter Constraint Engine Node Status as the field label.
  6. Enter 5000 as the length.
  7. Enter ConstraintEngineNodeStatus as the field name.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Select the Visible and de-select Read-Only for profiles that require CML rules. (System Administrator and Energy Utilities Sales User)
  10. Click Next.
  11. For the profiles whose users use Constraint Rules Engine, make sure that the Read-Only option is deselected.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Deselect the page layouts, and save your changes.
  14. Repeat the steps to create the ConstraintEngineNodeStatus field for the Order Product (OrderItem).
