# Supported Nodes and Data Sources for On-Demand Processing

Review the data sources and transformation nodes compatible with on-demand processing. On-demand mode is optimized for targeted transformations on Salesforce data. Verify that the transformation logic is compatible before you activate a definition.

### Required Editions

## Supported Data Sources and Writeback Targets

- Input Data Sources: Salesforce objects, CSV files, and context definitions
- Output Targets: Salesforce objects and JSON

## Node Compatibility

On-demand mode supports most standard Data Processing Engine nodes. Exceptions apply to high-compute statistical functions.
