# Configure a Writeback Object Node in Data 360 Runtime

After you add writeback object nodes to your definition, configure your writeback objects to indicate the target type. In the Data 360 runtime, you can write back to a Salesforce object, data lake object, or data model object.

- **[Use Salesforce Object as Target Object](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.dpe_salesforce_object_as_wb_datacloud.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Configure Salesforce objects as target writeback objects in the Data 360 runtime
- **[Use Data Lake Object (DLO) and Data Model Object (DMO) as Target Object](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.dpe_datalake_obj_as_wb.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
In the Data 360 runtime, you can writeback transformed results to new DLOs and DMOs or existing ones.
