### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;"><a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.dpe_editions.htm&amp;release=264.0.0&amp;type=5" title="Review the supported editions and availability for Data Processing Engine (DPE).">View supported editions</a>.</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. Click **Activate** in the definition builder.
2. Validate the definition to make sure that it’s correct and can be run.

Resolve any errors that are highlighted in the definition.

To edit or delete an active definition, deactivate it first. You can't deactivate a definition while one of its runs is in progress. From Monitor Workflow Services, confirm that the definition's runs are no longer In Process, and then deactivate the definition.
