# Omnistudio Document Generation Spring '23 Release Notes

For Spring '23, Omnistudio Document Generation has introduced DocGen User permission set and throttling to maintain the consistency and resilience of server-side document generation service.

    The DocGen Designer permission set license now includes the DocGen Designer and DocGen User permission sets.
- **[Maintain the Consistency and Resilience of Server-Side Document Generation](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.doc_gen_throttling.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    Use throttling to manage the incoming server-side document generation requests. Throttling also prevents degradation of the document generation service due to the high volume of requests during certain hours. You must be on Spring ‘23 Omnistudio Document Generation release.
