# Set Up Einstein Relationship Insights

To enable your sales team to use Einstein Relationship Insights, configure the objects and records that track relationships between people, companies, or people and companies.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Unlimited</strong> Edition with Einstein Relationship Insights Basic</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available for an additional cost in:&nbsp;<strong>Enterprise</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Performance</strong>, and <strong>Unlimited</strong>&nbsp;Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

Configure the connected app for Einstein Relationship Insights, and then assign licenses to users. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Einstein, and then select **Einstein Relationship Intelligence**. Enable Einstein Relationship Insights, and then select the object connections to enable your users to explore the objects. Choose the location at which the Einstein Relationship Insights component appears on the page layout, and then add the component to the page.

Use a new and dedicated database to save your relationship object mappings. For the mandatory database migration to take effect, turn off and then turn on Einstein Relationship Insights, and then save the object configurations. This is a mandatory task.
