# View Promotions on the Summary Tab in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)

Manage promotions at the quote line item level. Learn how to apply promotions in the working cart and understand the difference between removing them individually or globally via the Summary tab.

Standard user permissions that grant the ability to access the Enterprise Sales App and manage quotes are required.

Promotions apply at the quote line item level. You apply them to individual lines in the working cart, and the Summary tab shows the promotions on the quote. You can assign promotions to members or groups, or just add them to the quote or order without assigning them to members or groups.").

When the same promotion is on multiple lines, Summary shows one promotion entry for all of those lines. Removing that entry from Summary removes the promotion from every line that has it. To remove the promotion from one line only, select that quote line item in the working cart and remove the promotion there. The promotion stays on the remaining lines, and Summary then shows the promotion entry for those lines only.

1. In the **Pricing Controls** panel, click the **Promotions** tab.
2. Expand the **Applied Promotions** accordion to view promotions currently applied to the quote, including their status.
3. Promotions are read-only from this tab — your admin configures them by using the pricing rules.

Example

You apply a fiber promotion to lines for five locations. Summary shows one promotion entry for all five. Remove that entry from Summary to drop the promotion from every location. If one location doesn't qualify, remove the promotion from that line in the working cart. The other four keep it, and Summary then shows one entry for four lines.
