# Run the EPCPEUpdateCurrencyCode Class

Loyalty pricing is a new feature in ​Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy Winter '18. Two additional fields are included in price lists, **Currency Code** and **Loyalty Code**. If you do not set a currency code for each price list, standalone pricing elements will not have a currency code. This makes the pricing elements invalid. Products associated with invalid pricing elements are not displayed in the cart. For more information about setting the currency and loyalty codes,

After you set the pricing and loyalty codes ( see [Setting Currency and Loyalty Codes](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.comms_setting_currency_and_loyalty_codes.htm&language=en_US)), running the EPCPEUpdateCurrencyCode class sets the currency code for each standalone pricing element in the system.

You must perform these steps even if you are not using loyalty pricing.

1. Download the EPCPEUpdateCurrencyCode.cls file.
2. From Setup, in the **Quick Find** box, enter Apex.
3. Click **Apex Classes**.
4. Click **New**.
5. Open the EPCPEUpdateCurrencyCode.cls file.
6. Copy the contents of the EPCPEUpdateCurrencyCode.cls file.
7. In the **Apex Class Edit** page, paste the contents of the EPCPEUpdateCurrencyCode.cls file.
8. Click **Save**.
9. From the **User** menu, choose **Developer Console**.
    
    The **Force.com Developer Console** window opens.
10. From the **Debug** menu, choose **Open Execute Anonymous Window**.
    
    The **Enter Apex Code** dialog box opens.
11. Paste the following statement into the **Enter Apex Code** dialog box:
    
    ```
    Database.executeBatch(new EPCPEUpdateCurrencyCode());
    ```
12. Select the statement.
13. Click **Execute Highlighted**.
14. Close Developer Console.
