Extend the Asynchronous System Interface

You can extend the functionality of the XOMAsyncSystemInterface class to add more functionality, such as applying logic to determine if a response is good or bad.

To use the extended interface in your orchestration plan, follow these steps:

  1. Select an Orchestration Plan Definition with a Callout Orchestration Item type.
  2. In the orchestration item, click the Use Custom CallbackURI checkbox, then click Save.

  3. Click the + tab
  4. Click System Interfaces.
  5. Select a system interface or create a new one, and specify the following:

    • System Interface Name

    • System: Specify the system you plan to use, as defined in step 7.

    • Implementation: XOMAsyncSystemInterface

    • Path

      The System Interface Edit screen.
  6. Click the + tab, then click Systems.
  7. Select a system or create a new one, and enter the system URL into the URL field.
