Decomposition handles supplemental orders in the ways outlined in this topic.
-
Decomposition mapping rules are not executed for upstream order items (commercial order items or multi-level fulfillment order items) with the supplemental action of Cancel.
-
OM determines supplemental actions by comparing the decomposition plan of the supplemental order (which is new) with the decomposition plan of the original order. A difference between the two decomposition plans indicates the need for a supplemental action.
-
If all of the upstream order items for a supplemental technical order item have a supplemental action of Cancel, then the supplemental technical order item is also marked to have a supplemental action of Cancel.
-
If a supplemental order item has a supplemental action value of Cancel, or if there's been no change to the attribute from fulfillment, then all of the attributes of the original order Item are copied into the supplemental order item. Otherwise, see Conflict of attributes.
-
For any technical order item that is not Canceled, if there are interim or immediate children of Cancel or Amend requested change, it has the supplemental action of Amend.
