# Create a Rollback Group

Rollback groups help you control the order in which items are rolled back when an order is canceled. You add a rollback group to the items that might be rolled back. (That is, you do not add a rollback group to the rollback item, but to the original item.)

To create a rollback group, follow the instructions below:

1. Navigate to the **Orchestration Item Definition Detail** page for a particular orchestration item.
2. In the **Rollback Group** field, type a name (a text string) for the rollback group, and then click **Save**.
3. Navigate to the **Orchestration Item Definition Detail** page for a different item, and type in the same group name.
    
    Items that have the same rollback group name are in the same rollback group.

    Rollback groups must contain items that are rolled out sequentially, or they won't work.
