# Assign Permissions to MSM Agent Persona

To create a user with a service agent persona, you must assign the required permissions set licenses, managed permission sets, and object-level permissions as recommended in the sample permission sets.

For the MSM Agent persona, verify if the following component access is assigned to the user:

1. Go to **Setup**, and open **Public Groups**. Optionally create a new sharing group for MSM users called MSM Access Sharing Group and add the user to it. If the group already exists, add this user to the existing group. By default in the org that you request, Multiplay Subscription Management creates the sharing group for this persona. If you migrate Multiplay Subscription Management to your own org, you can optionally create a sharing group.
2. Go to **Setup**, and open **Sharing Settings**. Create a new sharing rule for each of the objects listed depending on your type of org. If the rule already exists because you created it for this or a different persona, you don't need to create the rule again.
