Post-Upgrade Steps for Spring '23

Perform the steps in this section to complete upgrade tasks for Industries Communications, Media, and Energy after you have installed the managed package.

  1. Use App Launcher to find Vlocity CMT Administration and perform the following Maintenance job under the Admin Console:

    Field Maps Maintenance: This job restores default Field Mapper settings that the CPQ flow uses to map fields between objects. Note that this job destroys any existing field mappings. If you previously created any custom field maps, note them before running this job. After you run the job, re-create the mappings.

  2. In the Vlocity CMT Administration tab under EPC Jobs, run the following job in the sequence below:
    Generate Global Keys: This job generates the global keys for various Salesforce Industries objects that are missing or set to Null.
  3. Run diagnostics to check if your configuration settings are correct:
    1. From the Vlocity CMT Administration page, click Check Configurations Settings.
    2. Click Check.
    3. Review the results and make any necessary adjustments. If any items are highlighted in red, follow the on-screen instructions to troubleshoot. To return to the Vlocity CMT Administration page, click Back to dashboard. For more information, see CPQ Configuration Settings Reference
  4. To upgrade the Vlocity Product Designer, see Upgrade Vlocity Product Designer.
  5. To upgrade the Vlocity Pricing Designer, see Upgrade Vlocity Pricing Designer.
  6. To deploy Industries CPQ in LWC.
