# Override a Price in the Cart in LWC

You can override both one-time and recurring prices. Vlocity does not use the base price to calculate the override. The price override replaces the price you are changing.

1. For a product in the Cart, click the ![Vertical ellipsis icon for actions menu](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-ind-comms_media_energy_managed-264-0-0-production-enus/ff4079f6-a384-475c-b863-578bbbb0ef9b/resources-product/images/cpq_lwc_action_ellipsis_icon.png) action menu, and select **Adjust Price**.

2. At the top of the pricing dialog, select **One Time** or **Recurring**.
3. From the **Adjust By** list, select Override.
4. In the **Amount** field, enter the override amount.
5. Click **Add**.
    
    The override appears in the Price Waterfall section of the pricing dialog. The price for the product in the Cart is updated.
6. Close the pricing dialog.

    If you create an order, add a product to the cart, or change an asset to an order, and then you apply a manual adjustment to the line item, the dropdown adjustment will appear when you refresh the page.
