# Manage Advanced Stackability for Promotions

Apply the promotions that a customer is eligible for on a quote or an order, and review which promotions applied and in what order.

### Required Editions

Salesforce evaluates every eligible promotion for each line item and for the order, and then applies the winning promotions according to the groups and priorities that you configured. The rep can see which promotions applied, and in what order, in the price waterfall.

## Apply Promotions on a Quote or Order

Add a product, and apply the eligible promotions.

1. Open the quote or the order.
2. Add a product.
    
    The eligible promotions appear in the side panel or the product configurator. Automatic promotions apply without any action.
3. To apply a coupon-based promotion, enter a valid coupon code to unlock the promotion.
4. Save your changes.
    
    Salesforce applies the winning promotions from each group.
5. Review the applied promotions and their priority in the price waterfall.
    
    Promotions appear in priority order, where priority 1 is the highest.

## Review Applied Promotions and Priority

View the promotions applied to a quote line item or an order line item and their order.

1. Open the quote line item or the applied promotion line item.
2. Review the applied promotions and their discounts in the price waterfall.
    
    The waterfall shows each applied promotion in priority order.
