Make the Discount Field Visible to Administrators

To deploy Industries CPQ in LWC, you must make the Discount field on the Opportunity Product object visible to system administrators.

1. From Setup, open Object Manager.

2. From the objects list, open the Opportunity Product object (with the OpportunityLineItem API name).

   

3. Click Fields & Relationships for Opportunity Product.

   

4. Click the Discount field.

5. Click View Field Accessibility.

6. From the field accessibility list, select Discount.

7. For a system administrator profile, click Hidden in the Field Access column.

   

8. On the Access Settings page, select Visible for the profile, and click Save.

   The field is visible though it shows as Hidden for the profile.

   

9. For each system administrator profile, repeat steps 6 – 8.
