# Apply Promotions to Cart Invocable Action

Use this action to apply promotions to a cart based on specified inputs. For example, a sales rep can use this action to apply the promotions applicable to internet packages to a customer.

Note When a promotion is applied, promotion-level attribute overrides take precedence over bundle-level overrides for child products. If both exist, the system applies only the promotion-level overrides and ignores those at the bundle level. However, if no promotion-level overrides are present, the bundle-level overrides will apply as expected.

## Input Values

| validate | Optional: A Boolean value that indicates whether to validate the configuration of the cart after applying the promotion. The default value is true. | Boolean |
