# Installing the Base CPQ Templates

After you install or upgrade ​Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy, you must install the Base Cards and the CPQ Base Templates.

1. Go to the Vlocity Cards tab. To get to the Vlocity Cards tab, click **App Launcher** or **All Tabs**, and then click **Vlocity Cards**.
2. From the **Import** menu, choose
    
    - **Install BaseVlocityCards**
    - **Install CPQBaseTemplates**.
3. Ensure that all items are selected and then click **Next**.
4. Review the items to import and then click **Next**.

    Note
    
    You can ignore all errors.
5. Click **Activate Now**.
6. Click **Start Activation**.
7. Click **Done**.
