# Use Real-Time Validation for Attributes in the Working Cart (Managed Package)

Use the Real-Time validation to instantly validate product attributes, with the option to either include or defer pricing calculations.

Standard user permissions that grant the ability to access the Enterprise Sales App and modify quotes are required.

Before you begin, ensure that Real-Time Pricing and Validation is turned on in the working cart settings.

1. Modify the product configurations and attributes in the working cart.
    
    - Real-Time Validation with Instant Pricing - Validate attributes and see updated price in real-time.
    - Real-Time Validation with Deferred Pricing - Validate attributes but delay pricing calculations until you click **Run Pricing**.

        Note Validation runs automatically after each modification, as configured. If an attribute change causes an error, the error message is shown immediately.
2. Review the error message and correct the product configuration that caused the error.
3. After the error is resolved and when no new errors appear, proceed by clicking **Add to location**.
