1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Static Resource and select **Static Resources**.
2. Click the **cme\_sfdx\_datapacks** static resource file and click **View file** to download the file.
3. In your local system, create a folder named IDX\_Workbench.
4. Extract the contents of the cme\_sfdx\_datapacks zip file to the IDX\_Workbench folder.
5. In the IDX\_Workbench folder, create a file named sfdx-project.json, and copy this code in the file.

    ```json
    {
        "packageDirectories": [
            {
                "path": "salesforce_sfdx",
                "default": true
            }
        ],
        "namespace": "",
        "sfdcLoginUrl": "https://login.salesforce.com",
        "sourceApiVersion": "51.0"
    }
    ```

    Your files are now ready to use with IDX Workbench.
6. Install the [Alpha version of IDX Workbench](http://vlocity.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/electron/index-alpha.html).

    Salesforce recommends that you use macOS with the Alpha version of IDX Workbench.
7. In the IDX Workbench application, add the IDX\_Workbench folder from your local system as a new repository.
8. Select the newly created repository as the source.
9. Set up the target org as the org that you want to upgrade to the latest version.
10. From Project dropdown, select **New Project**.
11. Enter a name for the project.
12. From the Salesforce Types dropdown, select all the items, and click **Fetch DataPacks**.
