Disable Batch Job Notifications

As a default behavior, the notification messages are generated whenever a batch job gets completed.

You can disable the notifications globally or at the batch job level. For example, you can enable notifications only for the Apply To Group, and disable for Validate & Price, and Create & Submit Orders.

  1. To disable the global notifications, log in to your org.
  2. In the App Launcher, select Vlocity CMT Administrator.
  3. Select CPQ Configuration Setup.
  4. Click the Edit icon next to EnableUserNotifier, and set its value to False.
  5. Click Save.
  6. To disable notifications at the batch job level, log in to your org.
  7. In the App Launcher, select Omnistudio Integration Procedure.
  8. Open the latest version of the Integration Procedure for which you want to disable notifications:

    Batch Job

    Integration Procedure

    Create and Submit Order

    MultiService/StartCreateAndSubmitOrders

    Submit Order

    Submit OrderMultiService/StartSubmitOrders

    Validate Price

    MultiService/StartValidatePrice

    Apply to Group

    MultiService/StartApplyToGroup
  9. Click Create Version.
  10. Select Start batch-job remote action. For example, StartApplyToGroupJob.
  11. Click Edit in JSON.
  12. Search ApplyToGroupNotificationEnabled field, and set its value to false.
  13. In the Procedure configuration, click Save.
  14. Click Activate Version.
