# Create the Originating Channel Context Dimension

These instructions use the Channel\_PKL picklist which has been previously created. The picklist has the following values: Web and Retail.

To create a context dimension:

1. In the Vlocity Product Console, the **Rules** section, click the plus icon next to **Context Dimensions**.
2. In the General Properties section, complete the following fields:
