Confirm that your admin has enabled the ESMAddAssetInEnterpriseOrder custom permission in your assigned permission set or profile. If you don't have this permission, the Change to Order action isn't available to you.

Identify the account and the assets you want to migrate, whether a single asset or multiple assets.

1. From the account's Asset Viewer, find the asset that you want to convert.
2. Open the row's action menu and select **Change to Order**.
3. In the Add assets to enterprise order dialog, select a tab to indicate whether you're creating a new enterprise order or adding to an existing one:

    - **New Enterprise Order**: Enter an order name and select a Price List.
    - **Existing Enterprise Order**: Search for and select an enterprise order. Only enterprise orders in a valid state appear in the list.
4. Select **Save & Continue**.

This button stays disabled until you complete all required fields.

Identify the account and the assets you want to migrate, whether a single asset or multiple assets.

1. From the account's Asset Viewer, select the checkboxes next to the assets that you want to convert.
2. In the table header, select **Change to Order**.
3. Complete the dialog fields as described in the preceding steps.
4. Select **Save & Continue**.

If your selection is within your org’s configured threshold, Enterprise Sales Management adds the assets to the enterprise order immediately and opens the order record.

If your selection exceeds the threshold, Enterprise Sales Management processes the request in the background so you can keep working in Salesforce while the job finishes.

If you select an asset that’s already on the target order, Enterprise Sales Management skips the duplicate and doesn’t create a second line for it.
