# Configure Bulk Processing

To replace offers in bulk, you must add a custom metadata type for ListToObjects. Otherwise, sales agents see "Bulk Replace" errors when they use the change of plans feature to replace offers in bulk.

1. From Setup, search for and open Custom Metadata Types.
2. From the list of custom metadata types, click **Manage Records** for Function Definition.
3. Click **New**, and enter the following field values.
