Enterprise Sales Management uses a single configuration property to decide whether an asset migration request runs synchronously (immediately) or asynchronously (in the background). This property is shared with the existing asset-to-quote migration, and Salesforce is generalizing its name to reflect that it now applies to both quotes and orders.

| Property | Details |
| --- | --- |
| Name | syncAssetToOrderThreshold (under the Integration Procedure b2bExpress\_assetConfigData) |
| Data type | Number |
| Default value | 4 |
| Valid range | Any positive whole number |
| Fallback behavior | If the value is missing or invalid, Enterprise Sales Management treats the request as synchronous with a default threshold of 5 assets |

When a request includes exactly the threshold number of assets or fewer, Enterprise Sales Management processes it synchronously. When a request includes more assets than the threshold, Enterprise Sales Management processes it asynchronously as a background job.

1. From the App Launcher, open the **OmniStudio Integration Procedures** app.
2. Find b2bExpress\_assetConfigData. If it's locked or read-only (an active version), select **Edit** to create a new draft version.
3. In the procedure canvas, locate the **Set Values** step and find the sync threshold property **syncAssetToOrderThreshold**.
4. Enter the number of assets to use as the synchronous-processing threshold. The default is 4.
5. Save your changes, then activate the new version if needed.

Your change takes effect immediately for new migration submissions. Requests submitted before you changed the value continue to process using the threshold that was in effect at submission.
