Clone and customize the predefined Document Generation templates according to your business requirements.

Collections and Recovery includes two predefined Document Generation Templates. Clone and customize these templates according to your business requirements.

- FinalDebtRecoveryNoticeAndLegalWarning
- OverdueAccountCollectionNotice

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Design Document Template**.
2. Expand the OverdueAccountCollectionNotice template, and open the latest version.
3. From the action menu, click **Clone**.
4. Customize the template according to your business requirements, and save the changes.
    
    Before you customize the cloned template, learn about [tokens](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.sf_contracts_doc_gen_tokens_microsoft.htm&language=en_US) used in the template and [token limitations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.sf_contracts_known_limitations_in_design_document_template.htm&language=en_US).
5. Activate the template.
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for the FinalDebtRecoveryNoticeAndLegalWarning template.
