# Sign and Release Check-Out Documents

Before you leave the warehouse or store to run the delivery visits, confirm the truck inventory with your signature and release the check-out document.

### Required Editions

The tour has at least one product check-out document that isn’t Released or Canceled and the product check-out has been initiated.

Note You can’t release a check-out document without the driver's signature.

1. On the Tour Cockpit, select **Check out products** from the Start Tour Activities card.
2. On the Checkout Documents page, select a check-out document.
3. Tap **Summary** and then tap **Release**.
4. Provide the driver's name.
    
    You can skip this step based on the Authentication setting in the Signature Template.
5. Tap **Sign now** and sign the document.
6. Tap **Confirm** and then tap **Release**.

The document status changes to Released. The admin creates the inventory and inventory transactions for the products in the released check-out document based on the inventory configuration settings in the Consumer Goods Cloud desktop app.

Post-sync, you can view the signature under the Signature section on the Order Header page and the driver name in the Signature object on the Consumer Goods Cloud desktop app.
