# Perform Vehicle Inspection

Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of your tour, and make sure your vehicle meets company and legal requirements. You can't complete the start and end tour activities without performing the configured vehicle checks.

Your admin must have configured vehicle checks as part of the start or end tour activities.

1. Log in to your Consumer Goods mobile app and select a tour that is in progress.
    
    You can update the vehicle checks when the tour is in progress.
2. On the Tour Cockpit, tap **Inspect Vehicle** from the Start Tour Activities card or End Tour Activities card.
3. On the Vehicle Checks tab, complete the vehicle checks at the start or end of the tour sections. If the vehicle passes the check, tap **Yes** for the check result. If the vehicle check fails, tap **No**.
    
    If the vehicle passes all checks, the Inspect Vehicle activity is shown as completed on the Start or End Tour Activities card.
